WASD or arrows to move, mouse to aim, hold to fire, R to reload, Space for grenades, Shift to dash and Q to cycle weapons. Gamepads get dual-stick aim, triggers and rumble; touch devices get an analog stick with aim assistance.
Story, Operative, Veteran and Nightmare adjust enemy density, durability and attack tempo while leaving every enemy, weapon and mission intact. Controller support is native and disconnects fail safe without latching movement or fire. The HUD keeps an in-world reticle, target-acquisition feedback, explicit low-ammo and reload states, and off-screen markers for objectives and extraction, so no critical information is colour-only or off-screen without a cue.
