You are an enormous cartoon bear in a forest far too elegant for you, and your holiday plans involve a lot of honey and very little tidying. Big Bad Bear in the Magic Forest is a 2D platformer played from the side: run, jump and smash your way through a storybook forest full of gnomes, knights, wizards and goblins who really should have stayed out of the way. The violence is pure cartoon slapstick, all squashes, bonks and dizzy birds, and the humour is in every thump.

You play with the keyboard: run, jump and smash your way across each level. The menus work with the keyboard or the mouse.
Screen shake can be turned off or set to low, and a reduce-flashes option turns off the red flash when the bear is hit. Music and effects have separate volume settings, and every menu works with the keyboard or the mouse.
